It also lets them know that nazi's are superrior to them because they are wearing clothes and giving the orders. It also makes sure that the Jews don't have any weapons to use against them. So the nazi's making the Jews strip down was a good tactic because it brought down the moral of the Jews and it made sure they had no weapons or contraband.
